Ha, I have actually grow kinda fond of my "crochet ole" title - so I decided to use that from now on for my finished projects.

Most peeps seem to call it their "crochet ta-dah!" and I used to say "crochet yay" but I like the ole better - it has some kind of pizazz associated with it.

But enough of  the dribble, let me show you what I created within 24 hours

Yup, quite a naff title but I could not come up with anything fun or funky at all, so it will have to make do:)

For this year I am attempting to become much better at crocheting and knitting as I have seen so many things that I would like to create but so far, I did not feel that I had the skills to do so.

Well, if I don't get a move one I will never learn those skills, right?

So, I started on Mr P's blanket at the beginning of December and blogged about it HERE.

It is sort of finished, as I ran out of yarn and currently await a new delivery. It is only missing about 12" and as Mr P always has his feet dangling out from underneath all blankets (don't ask...he is just weird like that), he accepted the blanket as being perfect for the time being.

Below post went live earlier on the Donna Salazar Blog.

Today I like to showcase a quick idea how to incorporate Donna's Artistic Papers and the Crafty Chronicle into your projects.

I like using parts of the Chronicle to just tuck underneath pictures and layers of paper. Some of the headlines make perfect subtitles, as in the case of this layout.
