Skulls and Chicks and wicked wins....

Over the weekend I carried on with my declutter of old and unloved layouts and once I was done I was quite amazed to count not one, not two but SEVEN (as in one more than six) empty albums....each of which had around 40 layouts stored. You do the maths - yup, it is a staggering 280 layouts I sent to scrapper's heaven. And I didn't even feel the slightest bit of guilt...I actually was totally inspired by the end of Saturday and spent Sunday creating a few layouts and cards.

But before I show you some of them, let me tell you about a blog candy that had me jumping up and down with delight when I was drawn as the winner (yay, me!!!!). You see, I never win those fabulous giveaways but this time I was lucky (and who knows, this may be the first in many...he he).

My super creative friend{{ Nat }} had a RAK on her blog for her own {{ Paperline }} including the overlays. In addition, she threw in some awesome adhesives from {{ Scrapbook Adhesives }}. When I left a comment I never thought I would be holding all this deliciousness in my greedy/grubby hands - how wrong was I...the papers are so much more fun in real life and the overlays totally rock. Expect to see some "natified" projects here soon :)

Then there was this {{ Handmade Swap}} I did participate in - and I was teamed with {{ Nicci }} whose wish was for something girlie/Ed Hardy like. My wish was anything that had skulls on it - so I guess we were both a match made in heaven...

As Nicci has received her packet from me already, I can show you what I created for her - this pink/skully bracelet/earring combo
And this is what greeted me when I came home this morning...*gasp* I am in Skull Heaven

I can honestly say that this must have been the best swap I have participated in for a long time!

And before I totally forget - here is one of the cards I created over the weekend, which I am entering in the {{ Allsorts Challenge #48 }}. The requirement is to use some stitching on your project, and that I certainly do on almost anything these days - both faux and real.
