SOG - Challenge #4 - Return of the 80's

I was totally stumped, when we were given the requirement for our first {{ Some Odd Girl }} May Challenge. Dude, I loved the Eighties and I for one am glad that the fashion, style and colour schemes from that period have been back for the last year or two.

But make a card based on the Eighties?!!!? How the heck am I going to get BIG hair, Shoulder pads or Legwarmers incorporated on my card...because those three things pretty much define the Eighties for me in a nutshell.
All of a sudden a light bulb went on in my head (trust me, it doesn't happen that often) and I thought {{ Frankie Goes To Hollywood }} and their famous slogan T-Shirt FRANKIE SAY RELAX... with that, all of a sudden I had my main inspo for the challenge and the rest pretty much fell into place.
Without realising at first I also choose two of the most popular colours of the Eighties: magenta  and yellow.
Magenta (fuchsia)

Adding some wonderful papers and overlays from my friend {{ Nat's }} paper collection {{ eMOTions }}, and using one of the new releases {{ Round Belly Robot }} from {{ Some Odd Girl }} and my card was done in no time.

I love how the cosmic shimmer splatters in the close-up look like tiny drops of water...totally wicked and I have NO idea why they looked so raised this time...

So, you gonna play with us? You do know that you can win a digi stamp of your choice should you be the challenge winner, right? And you do know that if you use a digi stamp from SOG for your submission, you get two entries in the draw...? Yup - and you know the best bit - you don't even have to pay to play - use the {{ monthly FREEBIE }} to enter the challenge. Those Freebies are what got me hooked on SOG, as I was able to play with the images before I was sure that they are really for me and then there was no stopping me, filling up my virtual shopping trolley. Some of the past Freebies are now very much sought after - not available in the shop - digi stamps....so, don't say I didn't tell ya ;)
