Just for fun....and DT CALL

The last couple of days have been somewhat weird - I was hit again by a migraine which was accompanied by heavy nosebleeds. My doctor was concerned because my blood pressure was through the roof - something unheard of, as my blood pressure has always been textbook.

So, I had to rest for two days, which in my case meant ---->>>> off into my scrap-hole and just chuck it all on :)

This is the first layout which came about was pretty much an accident. I had a few leftovers from cards and stuff, which I shoved all in the same corner of my desk. Somehow, the way it fell looked totally wicked and all I did was just glue all the layered bits together and stuck it on a piece of cardstock. a few touches here and there: eh voila - totally SPACED OUT.

**click on any of the images to enlarge them **
Ingredients:
Cardstock: Bazzill; Papermill ** Papers: Making Memories; My Minds Eye ** Stickers: Making Memories; American Crafts; Sassafras Lass ** Other: Signo Pen; Pearls; Rhinestones; Cosmic Shimmer ** Tools: Cricut; Border Punches

And then there was this "new" challenge blog I found and when I say new, I mean it is new to ME: {{ The Pink Ninjas }}. With a name like that it is no wonder I was all over it and the {{ recent challenge }} was perfect for another layout using the same photograph as in the SPACED OUT.
Ingredients:
Cardstock: Paperchase; Papermill ** Papers: Making Memories ** Stickers: Making Memories; Rusty Pickle; Dymo; Pink Paislee ** Other: Signo Pen; Pearls; Rhinestones; Cosmic Shimmer ** Tools: Stampin' Up border punch; Woodware border punch

I also got another layout done for the recent Trifecta Challenge over at the {{ Design Dollies }} where my SOGgy girlies {{ Leah }} and {{ Kristy }} hang out. I never entered one of their Trifecta's before, because I never understood how it worked...tee hee. And apparently I am still a twit with the attention span of a gnat, because once the layout was finished I realised that I used the wrong elements challenge. Call the whaaaaaaaaaambulance, quick! I decided to still enter the layout as I guess it still kinda works for the element of graduation/growth in life....how so? Well, you gotta go {{ here }} and read the skinny in my comment.

Ingredients:
Cardstock: Bazzill; Stampin' Up ** Papers: Cosmo Cricket; Bella Blvd ** Overlay: Nat Kalbach for Sultane ** Stickers: unknown Alpha's; Deco Tape - Etsy ** Other: Cosmic Shimmer; Pearls; Rhinestones

Oh and before I forget - there is one WICKED DT call going on right {{ here }}. This is a team you really want to be part of. So much fun, a super sweet owner I would love you to apply - I sent my app in already :)
