Create Your Own Kit - December 2010

Even though I have subbed for three months to the {{Nook}} kits, oddly enough I get more done with my old stash. Probably because of some guilt twang...after all I challenged myself to use up at least twelve of my 24 Kits before I can sub to a new one...so somehow I think I feel I have to get some of my stash depleted before I can dive into the subbed Kits.

Anyhoo I ramble on - I don't really like Christmas themed Kits because both Mr P and I are the reincarnations of Scrooge: we don't do Christmas.
Of course we like the days off work and we "celebrate" in the way that we really put an effort into cooking some really special meals that we only have once a year, but other than that - there is nothing for us to gain from Christmas. We are neither religious nor do we have Children and as we buy what we need during the year, there is also no pressure on a last minute dash for some presents.

All in all, we have a very relaxed Christmas time as we can just sit back, relax and watch everyone else hyperventilate: quite fun, actually...

But that didn't stop me form putting my December Kit together in a Christmas fashion - I like the challenge to see just how much out of the box I can scrap with the Santa theme going on.

  2. Hi Kim! Your kit looks yummy!
And yes I do feel guilty sometimes too, for having so much scrap stuff that I never use! What an addiction, hum!?
On the other hand, X-Mas time is the time of the year that I love the most and my little Paula goes on the same direction! She enjoys our X-Mas tree, to city all the city X-mas lights and so on.
