I can't believe that I have finished the vest so quickly - it was a joy to knit and hopefully this time around I won't only wear it once and frog it again (my usual trick)
The photograph actually does not do the garment justice because it looks totally misshapen hanging there. But it is tailored as it should be, the middle part fits snuggly around the waist and the bottom part is very flowy.
One of these days I may get a picture of me wearing it :)
I am also pleased that I did not go with my initial plan of adding either pink or white buttons to the edge but instead took see through buttons. They do not distract from the overall design and look quite neat, dontcha think?
Pattern:
Yarn:
Patons Smoothie DK in pale pink - approx 300g
Needles:
5.0 circular
Time to complete:
18 days
The buttons really do match the garment perfectly, which I always think is a difficult think to do. Ask me to pick out buttons and I will run away. It looks beautiful, I hope that you enjoy wearing it (you really should show it off!).
