SYC - Challenge #53

You know what - I never even realised that I totally always forgot to link to my assignments for the previous months/year for {{ Scrap You Crap }}...how the heck did that happen???!??
Probably because we sometimes scheduled the posts on the blog up to six months in advance and I forget to just copy and paste it onto my personal blog after...what a dork.

Anyhoo - this month I am so not forgetting because I have been IT-CHING to showcase this layout. Now, don't get too excited because it ain't that special but this particular layout made me decide to scrap in 8.5 x 6 almost exclusively.

I had bought this roll of self-adhesive drawer lining in light and dark brown woodgrain and wanted to use it so badly for a layout. To give the lining some substance, I adhered it to an old piece of cardstock.
The challenge at SYC for may is to get rid of those A-Z stickers that all of us have stacked away by the truckload somewhere...and I just happened to have a few letters from a {{ My Minds Eye }} alpha sheet left over (hence the alphabet background missing a few letters..but seeing it was my first day at school, I wouldn't know how to use all those letters anyway...tee hee)
